Hepatica nobilis

Nobilis is the European species. Also here are both filled and half filled forms, but they are much rarer than in H. japonica. One major reason is that in Japan, unlike the Western world, has been a long tradition of breeding the filled and half-filled varieties. Moreover, there has been a wider range in the base material in Japan, where there are found a large number of mutations in the nature.
